Problem Report Number: 13687 Disabling Immediate despooling and rebooting the computer will hard lock the print server when COPY FILENAME LPT1 (or any redirected printer port) is issued from DOS when SERVER share is running. Printing works correctly under these conditions from Windows. NET PRINT FILENAME LPTn works also. Problem Report Number: 13690 Using Server's Internal Share may cause server lockups during various I/O functions. Problem Report Number: 13776 MDM_MGR.EXE will lock up if a change is made in Shared Modem Management, and the enter key is pressed twice at the "For the changes you have made to take effect you must restart your computer" prompt, rather than the ESC key ***************************************************************************** RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: ***************************************************************************** Insure that the self-extracting executable file NOS700.EXE was run in your LANtastic network directory (by default, this directory is C:\LANTASTI). From a DOS prompt, run the NEWNOS.BAT batch file, and follow the instructions listed on the screen to create updated copies of: MSRCI16.DLL, MDM_MGR.EXE, MONITOR.EXE, SERVER.EXE, WINMON.EXE, WNET.EXE, LANT3X.HLP, WNET.HLP, and WNET_MGR.HLP. NEWNOS.BAT will also add the GATEUNST.BAT file that, when run separately, will un-install the LANtastic Internet Gateway feature of LANtastic v7.0. NOTE: For more information on using the GATEUNST.BAT file, refer to the GATEUNST.TXT file. Repeat this procedure on all DOS and Windows 3.x machines on the network running LANtastic v7.0.
